We are a consortium of farms with a singular purpose of creating a special location for the advancement of Nova Scotian Fjord Horse products. We provide the market with an interesting and unique site for the location of superiorly bred and raised Fjord Horses, artwork related to this breed, access to Nova Scotian Fjord farms and a reason to participate in the Nova Scotian way of life.

The best stories are true stories...
To a person, the members of Nova Fjords consider the following as astonishing, bordering on remarkable. For us, there are no coincidences, as we believe that all things happen for a reason.
- We all started as citizens of other countries.
- We all had raised Fjord Horses in our respective homelands for a number of years.
- Each of us was introduced to Nova Scotia during vacations that occurred in different decades.
- Following these vacations, we independently came to the realization that we needed to relocate to Nova Scotia...no small feat even when you don't come with a herd of horses.
- In the first days of our respective visits we each raised an almost similar question to our partners..."What do you think about this environment as a potential heaven for our fjords?"
Sometimes there is something calling you. Fortunately for us, we all listened. The decision we took was the very best for our horses and for each of us. We believe this because we knew then and still know now what this breed needs. The memories about it are stored in these horses' genes and brains: coastal surroundings, pastures with salty mineral rich grass, wind and quick changing weather conditions that all work in concert to create the whole fjord. It has shown to be the best environment to develop strength, health, hardiness and a balanced temperament.
So, now you know why we and our beloved fjords are here. Visit us, verify what we experienced, and build your own opinion and impression of the land we now all proudly call home.
Because of our strong feelings about how Nova Scotia has been a life-altering change for each of us, our consortium became charter members of a provincial organization called, "Nova Scotia Come To Life." We fully support their efforts to share stories like ours of how we have been drawn to this new land. Nova Scotia is a wonderful place...come see for yourself.
